Established in 1989 as a small and private quality control laboratory, Nova West lab would test our food products for basic nutritional and bacterial information. In 2002, we incorporated our business and opened our doors to the public, as well as other businesses. Today, we have greatly expanded our capabilities to analyze different food products, fish meal and water samples for a wide variety of tests.
Clients use our services to not only ensure they comply with governmental regulations related to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and the Nova Scotia Department of Environment but also to meet their own quality
specifications.
Our dedication towards providing timely, efficient, and accurate analytical services has allowed us to become a leader in environmental quality control testing and the only privatized accredited lab for food microbiology in Southwest Nova Scotia.
Through our partnership with Université Sainte-Anne, we also have direct access to additional technologies, state-of-the-art equipment, and published researchers that allow us to offer expert advice and insight towards any scientific study.
